This class works on the fundamentals of flyball using positive motivation and backward chaining. We will focus on jumps and box work to complete a full flyball run. A good recall is recommended and off-lead control is a bonus.

This class works on the interaction of you and your dog while participating with other dogs and handlers in a flyball team format. You and your dog will be proofed while running against another team of dogs and other distractions.
The Team
The Greater Racine Kennel Club is associated with the “Ball Hogs” flyball team which uses the training facility. The team has been in existence for over 7 years in the Racine area. This team has been very successful in training dogs and handlers to achieve high placements at tournaments and attaining flyball titles for its dogs. The team typically practices every Sunday from 2PM to 4PM at the GRKC facility. Come by and watch sometime!
Run-Thrus
A flyball run-thru or flyball introduction will be held at the GRKC facility

Mock Tournments: FLYBALL FUNDAY- SUNDAY - March 11th, 2012
This “Mock” tournament will be attended by 5 to 6 other area flyball teams. It’s designed to help new flyball dogs in training to learn and train at a different facility in tournament conditions before their debut at a real tournament—
